Hello!
So last night Kubiq found an Armageddon shooting an offline Tower in Rakapas. Aware of the fact local was holding about 15 WTs in this station system, we figured we'd get in there, ninja it for a quick kill and carry on. This is what rolled out of that 'quick kill'
Kubiq and I were in Shield nano Talos' and Peg joined us into an armor Hurricane.

We indeed found the Geddon on the POS, with a Thorax. The Thorax pilot found himself in a pod about 9 seconds later, but the Geddon had a much hard tank. I screwed up my transversal speed, and he got me into 30% armor with some well-placed hits. I warp out, while the other guys kept point on the Battleship.
When I got back, a Stabber Fleet Issue plus support were on the grid. Meanwhile, a local Carrier had remotely sent its Fighters towards us, and Pegaus bit the dust ... He returned to Nisuwa swiftly, reshipped, and came back in a Huginn shortly after.
Meanwhile, WT's weren't gonna give up. A costly mistake; as they should have ... They just kept warping in one by one, or 2 at most, and they just kept dying to us. Once we had the 2 Talos on grid again, the Carrier Fighters were not much of a threat anymore; after we killed a handful, he stopped sending Fighters.
We were joking with each other saying it felt like doing a Mission with new spawns warping in :-)
At the end the Wartargets started forming a long-range sniper ships at the Station, but they never warped it in. We left local soon after.
I think this is an excellent example how bigger numbers isn't necessarily a better tactic.
Granted, we were using a Linking boosting Loki with us. A powerful tool that gives our ships more than 30% extra speed, and 50% extra tackle range.
In general, I had a fantastic PvP evening. This is really the kind of PvP I enjoy. Take the meta-gaming to a higher level, fight against all odds, and walk away with a handful of killmails. We used to do this kind of stuff (2v8's and alike) in my previous corp, and I'm glad we got to do it again.
Fly safe o/
